The Osi occurrence is located about 27 kilometres west of Uslika Lake and 71 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.

The area is primarily underlain by Early Jurassic to Early Cretaceous phases of the Hogem Plutonic Suite. In 1991, lithologies noted on the property include pyroxenite-hornblendite, biotite pyroxenite, metavolcanics(?), quartz monzodiorite, mesosyenite and leucosyenite.

The best rock sample (sample 55551) assayed 2.2 per cent lead, 0.02 per cent copper, 0.011 per cent molybdenum, 26.8 grams per tonne silver and 0.02 gram per tonne gold was of sheeted quartz veinlets (in float) containing 10 per cent pyrite and galena as fine-grained concentrations. The best copper assay of 0.063 per cent (sample 55661) was taken from a leucosyenite dike containing carbonate veinlets and low-grade alteration products. The highest platinum assay of 0.213 gram per tonne platinum (sample 55609) was derived from a 2-metre-wide shear containing carbonate veining within a fine-grained pyroxenite or metavolcanic host (Assessment Report 22381).

Another copper assay of 0.051 per cent (sample 55613) was derived from a talus sample of fine-grained pyroxenite or metavolcanic containing disseminated pyrite, chalcopyrite and malachite (Assessment Report 22381).

During 1990, Major General Resources Ltd. and Varitech Resources Ltd. formed the Hogem Joint Venture to acquire properties encompassing the most prospective areas indicated by previous Union Miniere Explorations and Mining Corp. Ltd. data. In 1991, 147 soil, 11 heavy mineral concentrate, 10 silt and 9 rock samples were collected from the claims.

In 2012, Tajiri Resource Corp. conducted a helicopter supported property-wide reconnaissance geochemical investigation of their OGK property. A total of 68 rock, 112 stream sediment and 383 soil samples were collected and submitted for assay. A helicopter supported airborne geophysical survey consisting of magnetics, VLF/EM and radiometric surveys over four blocks totalling 505 line-kilometres was also completed.
